I already have a custom Hide/Show toggle for the LEFT Toolbox in both Audit and Log.
The functionality is already working correctly, but currently the Toolbox hides/shows instantly.
I need ONLY the animation behavior to be changed.
Currently:
- Hide Toolbox = it disappears immediately.
- Show Toolbox = it appears immediately.
Required:
- Hide Toolbox should smoothly slide/collapse toward the LEFT, just like the existing SurveyJS RIGHT-side Property Panel smoothly slides/closes when its Show/Hide button is clicked.
- Show Toolbox should smoothly slide/expand back from the LEFT, using the same kind of smooth animation as the existing right-side Property Panel.
- The animation should feel like the right-side panel animation, but mirrored horizontally for the left Toolbox.
IMPORTANT:
- Do NOT change the Toolbox size, width, dimensions, icons, layout, or styling.
- Do NOT change the existing Hide/Show functionality or toggle logic unless required only to support the animation.
- Do NOT use an instant `display: none` / `display: block` approach for the animated Toolbox.
- Do NOT hardcode new Toolbox sizes.
- Inspect the existing SurveyJS right-side Property Panel implementation and reuse/mirror its existing animation/transition mechanism rather than creating an unrelated animation.
- Keep the existing Toolbox icons and all SurveyJS functionality working exactly as before.
- No flickering, layout jump, or duplicate toggle button.
- The toggle button should continue to be shown ONLY in the Designer tab.
- Apply the same smooth behavior to BOTH Audit and Log.
- Do NOT modify the existing right-side Property Panel.
- Do NOT affect Preview, Logic, JSON Editor, or any unrelated component.
Make the smallest possible HTML/SCSS/TS changes required.
First inspect the existing right-side Property Panel's actual Show/Hide animation and then apply the same animation principle to the custom left Toolbox.
